Introduction
Tyrone Rashard who is from Hackney east London, is a screenwriter with a penchant for action drama. He has plied his trade since 2011, inspired to write scripts after watching the very first series of ‘Top Boy’. “I was enthralled to see a show featuring a world I thoroughly understood, filmed on the same streets I grew up on”.
Eight years of self-taught scriptwriting later, Tyrone is now known for co-writing the very show that motivated him into screenwriting, Netflix’s cultural BAFTA winning hit show ‘Top Boy’, series’ two and three alongside the show’s creator Ronan Bennett.
